Director
Ich bin’s Frank
Description: At work, Julia Häusermann calls herself Frank, after Frank Levinsky from the series "Verbotene Liebe". But she is far more than Frank and far more than Julia, the woman with trisomy 21. She is a medium, a performer who morphs into ghosts, pop icons, telenovela characters, machines and entertainers.
Extra information: Playful, self-forgotten, appropriating and affirmative, she overwrites and transcends images of self-optimization and norms of ascribed femininity.
A cooperation with the Munich Kammerspiele.
