ShareMusic & Performing Arts is an international arts organisation working with artist development and pioneering performing arts using a mix of art forms – music, theatre, dance, video art and performance. The field of innovative arts technology is important. The vision is to give everyone the possibility to express themselves artistically in a world where differences are considered valuable.
ShareMusic works with internationally renowned artists, sharing the stage equally with people of different abilities and high quality is at the core of everything it does. The experience and skills of each individual is accounted in the process of creation and becomes an important part of work in its integrity. The performances represent the unique way of creation through the collaborative artistic process. ShareMusic’s motivation is artistic and societal development. Its work is rights-based and follows the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Hi-Hat Xpres

Description: Hi-Hat Xpres shows the thrilling journey through different eras and countries tracing the development of the instrument Hi-Hat. From the alchemist through to Led Zeppelin. The performance presents a unique combination of dancers and musicians, offering new perspectives. By composer Nigel Osborne and choreographer Veera Suvalo Grimberg. With four percussionists, the dance company SPINN and an ensemble from ShareMusic.
People on road: There are twelve dancers and musicians in the ensemble and two personal assistants. The road crew consist of 4-5 people.

Freight details: Props and percussion instruments including two marimbas and one vibraphone (possible to hire on location). Full instrument list is available.
ShareMusic offers different activities alongside its stage productions. Workshops can be arranged related to art forms and/ or themes of the show inviting individuals or groups with interest in working with inclusive performing arts. Seminars and presentations can be held, creating a platform for exchanging knowledge with others. Post show discussions are regularly held were the audience can meet the director and ensemble.
