On Fridays during the COVID-19 lockdown, Artistic Director of Per.Art, Saša Asentic, has hosted a weekly series of online talks with leading international disabled artists and creatives within the field of disability and the performing arts. These artists have developed their practice in New York, Berlin, Vienna, Hamburg, Warsaw, Athens, Tehran and Novi Sad, among other cities.
These talks are an opportunity to hear artists’ reflections on the current situation, how it affects artists and citizens on a global scale, what happens to the arts during this unprecedented time and the actions that can contribute to strengthening a sense of solidarity between creatives.
Produced as a collaboration between Per.Art and Kampnagel as part of Europe Beyond Access. Online support from Hellerau – European Center for the Arts, Künstlerhaus Mousonturm/ Tanzplattform Rhein-Main.
