Holland Dance Festival is committed to making dance accessible for everyone, it is therefore a logical step for us to take part in EBA. After the first period of Europe Beyond Access and the changes this has brought to the organization, we are even more committed to create access to all parts of the organization for artists and staff with a disability. We will be creating even more space for choreographers and dancers with disabilities in our programming, but we will also be engaging permanent staff members with disabilities as well as increasing access to the events that we host for disabled audiences.
The Holland Dance Festival was founded in 1987 to showcase international dance in the newly. Our powerful, singular mission is to make dance accessible to everyone. Every two years, the festival provides a significant boost to dance and cultural life in our country.
Additionally, we aim to maintain a high-quality international dance offering throughout the year. Following the initial phase of Europe Beyond Access and the resultant organizational changes, we are even more dedicated to ensuring access to all aspects of our organization for artists and staff with disabilities. We will expand opportunities for choreographers and dancers with disabilities in our programming, and keep improving access to our events.
