An outdoor site-specific Europe Beyond Access commission from Skånes Dansteater in Sweden. Uncharted was created under the artistic direction of Caroline Bowditch and Luke Pell following the Europe Beyond Access laboratory they led in Malmo.
About the work
Three different places, six different bodies. In known and unknown environments the dancers challenge and transform the view about who is visible in public space. Which environments in the city are we expected to be see in and who is allowed to be seen where?
Uncharted presents short site-specific dance performances created by exploring the physicality of the sites, the architecture and their energy. A new performance will happen each day, all unique to their place.
