In 2020, the British Council worked with Instytut Muzyki i Tańca to support disabled dancers, performers and choreographers in Poland. Despite challenges due to the pandemic, a series of workshops were able to take place, of which you can see a summary of here in this short film.
As well as meeting online with esteemed UK choreographer Claire Cunningham, the group were able to collaborate and dance together at a laboratory led by Katarzyna Żeglicka and Paulina Wycichowska. This culminated in an evening of performances at Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski to which curators and leading figures in contemporary dance were invited.
