Teacher training course: how to deliver accessible dance workshops online

Over the past months, many theatres, cultural institutions, arts spaces and dance companies have taken more of their activities online.

Yet how do we ensure that digital workshops, seminars and events that take place are accessible and invite full participation from disabled audiences?

This nine-part series from Holland Dance Festival and Stopgap Dance Company focuses on how dance teachers can learn to take their practice online and deliver effective workshops via digital mediums.

Supported by Europe Beyond Access, this teacher training series reduces some of the barriers to attendance in terms of accessing online dance classes, and therefore improving the support available for disabled artists. The series also aims to build capacity at mainstream arts organisations by providing the training and practical tools to make their engagement programmes more accessible.
