Federico Martello is an Italian singer, author and composer. His voice is described as a barytenor, and the voiceprint is a fusion of the studies of opera, soul and jazz improvisation (Academy of Opera – Diapason Accademy in Siena – course of modern singing and jazz improvisation – Vocal Classes Academy in Milan. Study of vocal and breathing techniques RPA). Despite his motor disability since birth, he develops with passion his talent, chasing and pursuing his goals, appearing on podiums in several Italian and International Festivals and taking part in TV shows.
Federico Martello has a repertoire of more than 5000 songs, that is based on his great passion for music and singing, which led him to try out new songs and genres. This means that he can sweep over all genres of music, from pop to melodic rock, and singers, male and female, in Italian, English, Spanish, French, Russian, e.g. from Bocelli to Bublè, from Joe Cocker to Groban, from Lara Fabian to Eagles.
Awards include Special Prize at Castrocaro Festival and best vocal at Carpathia Festival. In August 2016 he represented Italy at Pirogovsky Rassvet International Festival of Moscow winning the Grand Prix. The following year, he won Third Prize at Gibraltar International Festival, where he represented Italy, with a Spanish version of his hit song ‘Non esiste il destino’.
